I’m an alcoholic, member of the Tamarac Group, and my name is Al. The Unity XII Breakfast Planning Meeting will be held at the Intergroup Office on Thursday, May 25, 2017. This one of 2 events where General Service, Broward County Institutions and Broward County Intergroup come together to fulfill our Primary Purpose. Tickets are now available for purchase, please see me. Although we are still working on a menu, the Organization assignments have been for the most part been finalized. The Unity XII Breakfast will be held at 9:00 am on June 24th at the Plantation United Methodist Church. The Church is a NO SMOKING FACILITY so of course there is NO SMOKING on the property. Tickets are limited so we are hoping that they are sold out before the event and no tickets WILL BE sold at the door. The best way to get a ticket is to sign up for service. We still need volunteers for service assignments. Only 270 tickets will be available for sale at $8 each. All Volunteers are required to purchase a ticket. District 9 is looking for approximately 11 more Volunteers but more would be great to help the other entities fulfill their quota of service assignments. We have openings on the following Committees; Cleanup-Dining Room (2), Cleanup-Kitchen (1), Cooking (1) please check with Victor T as he will be working with Bob H of Intergroup on the Cooking and preparations, Set Up / Breakdown (1), Trash Disposal (1), Ready Squad (1), Parking (2), Smoking Patrol (1), Clean Outside (1), Extra Volunteers will be placed where needed either before or on the day of the Event to help meet any Staffing needs.
