In District 9, in early 2024, the current officers acknowledged that while the District held a monthly GSR Workshop, and a monthly ADCM/DCM business meeting, there was no such meeting for committee chairpersons. Many newly elected chairperson could benefit from such a “workshop”, esspecially if they have never served in a chairperson role before. 

In February 2024 the officers held the first Committee Chairperson’s Workshop, which included presentations from District 9 Officers and a few current chairpersons. 

Our goal is to document and record these sessions to serve both current and future Chairperson’s and help them learn through past Chairperson’s experience.
